An Aromatherapy Treatment
Your first appointment with me will be longer than subsequent sessions, as I will need to do a consultation with you in order to choose the essential oils most suited to your current needs. Aromatherapy treatments are carried out through massage, and I will need to assess if this method of application is the most appropriate for you. If the treatment is massage, the essential oils chosen are blended into a carrier oil and a special form of massage is given on a comfortable heated couch. The session lasts 75-90 minutes for a full body treatment. If massage is contra indicated, then I will blend the essential oils into a cream, lotion or bath oil for you to take home and use for a period of time before coming to see me again for an assessment update. The frequency of treatments varies from person to person and the conditions for which they are seeking help.

Oil blends in creams, oils, lotions, rollers and sprays are priced at time of treatment according to the oils used and size of the containers.
A Reflex Touch Treatment
At your first appointment I will carry out a consultation where I will enquire about your medical history, accidents, illnesses, recurring conditions, diet, exercise, stress levels etc.
You will then be invited to remove your foot ware and lie back in a reclining chair designed to support the whole body enabling your total relaxation throughout the treatment. I will then observe your feet using them as a guide as to what is happening in your body. I will notice their temperature, color, are they dry or sweaty, shape of your toes, swellings and puffiness and then begin my exploration by gently stroking the feet to allow you to become accustomed to the touch. At the end of the treatment, you will remain in the chair for 15 minutes to further your relaxation.
The treatment lasts for 60-70 minutes and costs $70.00
A MLD Treatment
A thorough consultation will also be required for this treatment as it is very important that there are no contraindications such as active cancer, infection, congestive heart failure, or if you are being treated for thrombosis or blood clots.
You will lie on a warm comfortable couch and the treatment begins in the neck area where the main lymphatic ducts are stimulated to drain and empty. The goal of this treatment is to empty areas closest to these ducts clearing them to allow a place for the lymph behind to drain to. The movement of the massage always follows the flow of the lymph. Sometimes, the abdomen is included to stimulate the deeper vessels.
After the treatment you will feel totally relaxed and hopefully feel energized and revived. If I feel the need arises, I will recommend aromatherapy products as part of a maintenance program which will include diet and exercise regimes and body brushing techniques.
The treatment times vary according to your needs and which particular areas are being treated. A full body treatment usually lasts for 60-70 minutes and costs $90.00.
